Meet us at the inventor's corner
Among the National Hardware Show’s more stimulating yearly traditions is its Inventors Spotlight, which carves out a space for the home improvement savants in our midst.
At the Inventors Spotlight Pavilion, inventors can snag an opportunity to share their ideas with buyers and investors. Other visitors can get a feel for where the cutting edge is heading in our industry via educational sessions, Pitch the Experts Panels, a QVC product search registration opportunity, and a roundup of Stage Awards (if you missed them last year, the Pinnacle Award for Best All Around Product went to EZ Smart Tool for its invention of a ladder-free gutter cleaner).
“I would highly encourage an inventor to make one of the most important decisions they could possibly make when introducing a new product: Exhibit at the National Hardware Show,” said Bryan Nooner, president of Midwest Innovative Products, in a testimonial for NHS. “This Show cannot be compared with any other single event that an inventor could participate in that would give them greater exposure to the largest retail buyers in the nation. These buyers are on the hunt for new products.”
So what’s on deck for 2016? Well, a brief look at the Exhibitors List showcases decorative knobs for autistic children, an inflatable garage door seal, a garbage can fly trap, and clips that aim to ease wood crown molding installation. For the rest, you’ll just have to see it to believe it.
