Milwaukee Tool has introduced the M18 Fuel Super Sawzall.
The Recip Saw is the first cordless solution of its kind, generating the power of a 15-amp corded recip saw. With increases in overall power and run-time across the board, the new cordless saw cuts faster than its corded predecessor.
“When it comes to heavy-duty cutting, there are few tools as iconic as the Super Sawzall Recip Saw. Until now, no other portable recip saw, corded or cordless, has matched the speed and durability of our 15-amp corded Super Sawzall,” said Tyson Apfelbeck, senior product manager for Milwaukee Tool. “Now, we’re pushing Super Sawzall performance even further due to the vast advantages of M18 Fuel cordless technology.”
Through a ground-up redesign of its electronics, to the manufacture of a powerful new motor and a brand-new powerhouse – the M18 Redlithium High Output HD 12.0 Battery— the new Recip Saw exceeds the performance of its predecessor, according to Milwaukee. The Recip Saw also combines three exclusive innovations – the Powerstate brushless motor, the Redlithium battery pack, and Redlink plus intelligence.
M18 Fuel Super Sawzall touts the same corded features that made its predecessors famous such as selectable orbital action, 1-1/4” stroke length, 3000 SPM and a 5-speed setting dial.
When equipped with Milwaukee’s new M18 Redlithium High Output HD 12.0 the recip saw can power through up to 150 cuts in 2x12 on just one charge, eliminating the hassle of cords or constant switching-out of multiple battery packs, while exceeding the performance of higher voltage solutions in the industry.
