McCoy’s names new Universal City manager

McCoy’s Building Supply has named Tyler Rubio as store manager of its Universal City, Texas location.

Rubio joined McCoy’s nearly 3 years ago as part of the company’s Management Development Program after graduating from Stephen F. Austin State University.

Most recently, Rubio served as assistant manager of McCoy’s new Montgomery, Texas store and was an integral part of the store’s opening process. Regional Manager Will Krause shared that Rubio has “packed a whole lot of life and experience into his time at McCoy’s and I’m excited to have him lead this team.”

“I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to connect with customers in the community,” said Rubio. “I want our customers to know that we’re here to answer their questions and provide exceptional customer service on all types of projects.”

Based in San Marcos, Texas, McCoy’s operates 87 stores, 3 distribution facilities, and 2 millwork facilities in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Mississippi, and New Mexico.
