McCoy’s makes manager moves in Texas
McCoy’s Building Supply has announced a pair of manager moves in Texas.
The San Marcos, Texas-based pro dealer and farm and ranch retailer has named Doc Sikes as store manager of Orange location and Will Fritzlan as store manager of its Pasadena store.
Sikes joined McCoy’s two years ago working as part of the yard crew before moving into a sales associate role. He eventually enrolled in the company’s Management Development Program and served as assistant manager at McCoy’s Richwood and Dayton stores before his promotion to manager.
“I am very excited to connect with this crew and community as a store manager,” Sikes said. “We want the customers to know everyone in the store is dedicated to helping them, whether they need to buy materials to build a house or find the right piece to fix a kitchen sink.”
Fritzlan has also been with McCoy’s for two years and began his career unloading freight trucks at McCoy’s Bryan store before becoming the yard foreman at McCoy’s Montgomery location. After a year with the company, Fritzlan enrolled in McCoy’s Management Development Program eventually serving as assistant manager at several locations before his promotion to Manager.
When asked about his favorite part of working at McCoy’s, Fritzlan shared, “The company culture. The positive attitude of the employees at the stores is the same no matter where you go and everyone strives to provide exceptional customer service.”
McCoy’s said it prides itself on great service, quality products and a knowledgeable customer-focused staff and Fritzlan is confident that under his leadership the Pasadena team will be able to deliver on those promises and more.
McCoy’s employs 2,500 people and operates 88 stores, 3 distribution facilities and 2 millwork facilities in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Mississippi and New Mexico.
