McCoy’s expanding in Bay City

8/31/2018
McCoy’s Building Supply has purchased an 8.2-acre site on State Highway 35 in Bay City, Texas, roughly 80 miles southwest of Houston.

A new McCoy’s location will open at the site by mid-2019, the company announced. The new facility will serve builders, remodelers, do-it-yourselfers and the farm and ranch community.

“We’ve been serving the Bay City market for many years from our nearby stores in Brazoria, El Campo and Victoria,” said Dan Stauffer, McCoy’s vice president of marketing and real estate. “Demand for our products and services continues to grow, and we’re excited to provide our great customers in Bay City with a location to call their own.”

The design of the store will reflect the updated features of McCoy’s stores in Alvin and Montgomery, Texas, with spacious interior retail space, a paved lumber yard, and a large drive-through lumber storage area.

Based in San Marcos, Texas, McCoy’s operates 87 stores, 3 distribution facilities, and 2 millwork facilities in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Mississippi, and New Mexico.
