Marriot exec nominated for Home Depot board
The Home Depot announced that Marriott executive Stephanie Linnartz has been nominated for election to the retailer’s board of directors.
Linnartz is executive VP and global chief commercial officer of Marriott International. In her position Linnartz is responsible for brand management, sales, marketing, revenue management, digital, distribution, consumer insights and innovation, as well as information technology worldwide.
Director elections will take place at The Home Depot’s annual shareholders meeting scheduled for May 17 in Atlanta, Ga.

Based in Atlanta, The Home Depot operates 2,284 retail stores in all 50 states, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, Canada and Mexico. In fiscal 2017, The Home Depot had sales of $100.9 billion and earnings of $8.6 billion.
