Maracay Homes names president

2/20/2018

Andy Warren has been appointed president of Weyerhaeuser Real Estate subsidiary Maracay Homes in Phoenix, effective April 27.

Warren, a 25-year veteran of the residential construction industry, most recently spent five years as a partner and chief operating officer of EYA, a private builder-developer in Bethesda, Md. Prior, he worked at WRECO’s Winchester Homes in the Washington, D.C., metro area. WRECO, a subsidiary of Weyerhaeuser, operates five home-building subsidiaries.

“Throughout his career, Andy has achieved stretch operating results, created team environments, developed and grown people, led change and improvement efforts, and realized visions for a customer-focused company,” said Larry Burrows, president of WRECO. “Having previously worked with Andy for many years, I’m confident in his abilities to manage Maracay through the current difficult time and successfully position the company for the future.”

Warren has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Wake Forest University and an MBA from George Washington University.
