Wallboard and building products distributor L&W Supply Corporation has acquired Metairie, Louisiana-based Acoustical Ceiling Supply Company (ACS).
As the first acquisition for the company after being purchased by ABC Supply last November, this purchase will expand L&W's footprint to 137 branches across 35 states.
ACS will be the second L&W Supply branch in the New Orleans area. The family-owned business (founded in 1976) serves the greater New Orleans market with commercial acoustical ceilings, specialty ceilings, insulation, metal studs and drywall products.
“We’re excited to grow our footprint and look forward to continuing to serve the needs of contractors in the New Orleans market,” said Dan Piché, president of L&W Supply. “This acquisition marks the beginning of a new era of strategic growth for L&W Supply.”
Under L&W Supply’s ownership, both branches will have expanded service capabilities and provide a full line of building material products, including USG Ceiling Tile & Grid and USG Specialty Ceilings products.
