Lumber Liquidators promises to address product safety
After ducking out of a scheduled appearance at an investor conference last week, Lumber Liquidators will resume its stance at the podium during a conference call Thursday.
The company released the agenda for the meeting today, which includes a discussion of its heavily questioned product safety standards.
Judging by the list, which includes topic headers such as "Our Products are Safe" and "What's Causing the Confusion," the retailer plans to stand by its denial of the claims made against it in the "60 Minutes" report that aired last week.
Lumber Liquidators said it also plans to provide a business update, addressing sales mix and laminate sourcing, its liquidity, "next steps," customer strategy and a first quarter outlook for 2015.
The call will be held on Thursday, March 12 at 10 a.m. EST. A side presentation will also be available by approximately 7 a.m. that morning.
