Lumber Liquidators makes executive moves
Lumber Liquidators, the hardwood flooring specialty retailer, has promoted Doug Clark to senior vice president, supply chain.
The move follows the Nov. 9 resignation of Carl Daniels who served as the retailer’s chief supply chain officer.
No reason was given for Daniels’ resignation but in a statement, Lumber Liquidators said Clark's promotion is part of the company’s leadership transition and succession plans.
As SVP Supply Chain, Clark will report to Charles Tyson, the company’s chief customer experience officer. Experience Officer.
Since joining Lumber Liquidators in February 2017, Clark has driven improvements and efficiencies in the company's forecasting, inventory management, and replenishment processes, helping to keep stores in stock and ready to sell beautiful floors to its customers, Lumber Liquidators said.
The Toano, Va.-based company also said that having the Supply Chain and its role in servicing customers report to the chief customer experience officer is part of the Company's long-term commitment to provide a seamless shopping experience for every customer.
"We would like to thank Carl for his years of service to Lumber Liquidators and wish him well in his future endeavors," Dennis Knowles, president and CEO said in a release. "We would also like to take this opportunity to congratulate Doug on his well-deserved promotion and look forward to his leadership in his new role."
Lumber Liquidators operates more than 400 stores nationwide.
