Lumber Liquidators launches expanded showroom concept
Moving away from the 60 Minutes fallout, Lumber Liquidators is moving ahead with the implementation of its expanded showroom concept.
The large showroom and improved warehouse design is part of the retailer's aim at creating a more customer-centric shopping experience that showcases a larger selection of products and design options. It also features a variety of installed floors that customers can see and walk upon in person.
For added user-friendliness, the products are grouped by category, color palette and cost.
Free flooring samples, as well as the advice of flooring experts, are also on-hand.
"Customers are telling us that the new store concept is making floor shopping easier," said president and CEO Robert Lynch. "Combining this with our high-quality flooring and legendary low prices creates consumer demand that continues fueling our expansion plans."
The expanded showroom concept is currently in place in nearly one-third of Lumber Liquidators' 350 stores, with more expected to roll out over the next several years.
