From LP, a new shingle

LP Building Products is rolling out a new cedar-imitation shingle.

The LP SmartSide Perfection Shingle, part of the LP SmartSide Trim & Siding product line, is made of engineered wood fiber and features a fine sawn wood texture with no knots.

The shingle features a cedar-like texture with a 5.5” to 6.5” reveal and is designed for use in single-family, multifamily and light commercial applications.

“The Perfection Shingle will feature the same beauty and durability that our customers expect from our engineered wood siding products backed with the same 5/50 warranty,” says Sandra Bostian, LP Building Products Innovation Manager, Siding. “As one of the fastest-growing house siding brands in the United States, we are excited to expand our LP SmartSide product line with the Perfection Shingle.”

The Perfection Shingle installs with a blind nail for a clean, sleek appearance. It's been available in the Mid-Atlantic region starting in August 2017 and will soon be available through distributors across the United States.
