Lowe’s Canada to hire 7,000 associates
With its busiest season drawing nearer, Lowe’s Canada said it plans to recruit and hire more than 7,000 employees.
Positions include full-time, part-time, and seasonal positions, which will be added to Lowe’s Canada’s current workforce of more than 25,000 employees.
The move will include the company’s first-ever “National Hiring Day” on Feb. 24. The event will take place at Lowe’s, RONA, or Réno-Dépôt corporate store across Canada. Lowe’s said management will be onsite to accept applications and conduct on-the-spot interviews. Candidates can also apply online at any time.

Available part-time and full-time positions include service and support managers, customer service associates, cashiers, stockers, boom truck drivers, and sales specialists. Available in-store seasonal positions include cashiers, lawn and garden associates, stockers, assemblers of outdoor products, and loaders.
Lowe's and its related businesses operate or service more than 2,370 home improvement and hardware stores and employ over 290,000 people. Based in Boucherville, Quebec, Lowe's Canadian business, together with its wholly owned subsidiary, RONA inc., operates or services more than 630 corporate and independent affiliate dealer stores in a number of complementary formats including the Lowe's, RONA, Réno-Dépôt, Marcil, Dick's Lumber, and Ace banners.
