Leviton integrates with Nest
Two smart brands come together to automate lights and connected loads.
Wireless smart home technology provider Leviton announced its integration with the Nest Learning Thermostat, Nest Cam and Nest Protect through the Works with Nest program.
Through this alignment, Leviton Decora Smart with Wi-Fi Technology and Nest devices can now be utilized together to automate lights and connected loads throughout the home.
For professional installers or homeowners or other end users, the free My Leviton app links their Nest account for unique automation occurrences within the home, including turning Leviton lights on if a Nest Cam detects motion, or it there is a smoke or carbon monoxide alarm detected by Nest Protect.
The combination will also adjust Leviton lights when needed, and provides other smart-home controls.

Decora Smart with Wi-Fi light switches, dimmers and plug-in modules provide time-based schedules, free remote control from anywhere and optional integrated voice control with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. Winning nearly two-dozen awards in 2017, this customizable solution also provides home and away occupancy modes, auto-shutoff countdown timers, integration with IFTTT (if this, then that) service and multi-user support.
