Leviton adds Rocker Slide Controls

Leviton has added to its Decora product line with the introduction of Decora Rocker Slide Controls, which include a new line of Universal Dimmers and a Quiet Fan Speed Control.

“The Leviton Decora brand is synonymous with dependable performance and refined style,” said Bill Grande, Leviton’s senior director of product management. “Leviton is pleased to expand our Decora product offering with the Decora Rocker Slide Controls line to meet the current and future needs of our customers as they move to next generation bulb technology.”

The Rocker Slide Universal Dimmers are compatible with incandescent, LED, CFL, halogen, magnetic low voltage, electronic low voltage and fluorescent loads. They fit easily in a standard wallbox and are suitable for multi-gang installations with other Decora products.

Meanwhile, the Decora Quiet Fan Speed Control provides 1.5 amps of medium and high fan speed control, all in a similar design to the Dimmer. It's especially suited to areas where ceiling fan noise should be kept to a minimum (like libraries, bedrooms, or offices).

The Rocker Slide Controls can be used in a three-way application when used with a three-way switch.
