LBM vendors recognized by David Weekley Homes
Beacon Roofing, James Hardie, LP Building Products, and Simpson-Strong Tie recognized as Partners of Choice.
David Weekley Homes, the nation’s largest privately-held home builder, has recognized a number of major LBM brands with its Partners of Choice Awards.
LMB companies that have been recognized include Beacon Roofing, James Hardie, and LP Building Products, and Simpson Strong-Tie.
Each year, David Weekley Homes recognizes its vendors that exemplify world class quality and service by administering a rigorous evaluation process, a large component of which is the National Trading Partner Survey. This survey is conducted quarterly by 1,000 employees at all levels of David Weekley, with the goal of enhancing communication, enacting change, improving customer service and ultimately achieving the highest level of homeowner satisfaction
“When David Weekley Homes utilizes Beacon to build their homes, they can rely on our vast distribution network of over 550 branches and innovative solutions to help deliver their projects on time,” said Eric Swank, chief commercial officer at Beacon. “We are honored to receive an 'A,A' Partners of Choice Award for quality and service from David Weekley Homes.”LP was one of 25 of the 200 companies participating in David Weekley Homes’ supplier evaluation.
“This is a great honor coming from the nation’s largest privately held home builder,” LP Specialty Sales and Marketing Vice President Craig Sichling said. “This shows that the hard work that LP employees and channel partners put into what they do every day is appreciated.”
“To be a Partners of Choice Award winner for 5 consecutive years is a remarkable accomplishment, especially when you consider all the changes in our industry over the past 5 years,” said Bill Justus, vice president of supply chain services for David Weekley Homes and chief architect behind the homebuilder’s supplier evaluation platform.
Over the last 12 years, James Hardie has won the "A,A" award 11 times and the "A" award once. This makes James Hardie one of only three other companies to have earned the award this many times.
"Earning the Partners of Choice Award is a reflection of the superior standard we set for ourselves, not only to manufacture durable, high-quality products, but also to deliver best-in-class service," said Zean Nielsen, executive vice president, sales, at James Hardie Building Products.
Simpson Strong-Tie, the leader in engineered structural connectors and building solutions, earned the “A,A Partners of Choice” award, conferring highest honors for both quality and service — for the 8th consecutive year from David Weekley Homes, the nation’s largest privately held homebuilder. Simpson Strong-Tie is one of only two companies to receive the prestigious Partners of Choice award — which denotes an “A” ranking in either quality or service, or both — for all 14 years since the program began.
Headquartered in Houston, Texas, David Weekley Homes operates in 22 cities across the United States.
