LBM Advantage recognized by Northwest Lumber Association
LBM Advantage, Inc., the member-owned co-op, was recently recognized in several categories at the Northwest Lumber Association’s (NLA) Annual Expo.
Held in St. Cloud, Minn., Jan 28-29, the expo brought together members from six states: Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, Nebraska, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.
LBM Advantage, Inc. was honored as a 2019 Association Supporter of the Year for participation in several association events and functions throughout 2018.
The LBM buying group was also recognized for “their creative way to connect with members through their sponsorship of the ‘Hole in One’ contest in both Nebraska and Iowa as they continue to build a presence there,” according to Cody Nuernberg, the President of NLA.
LBM Advantage’s Steve Houle was recognized at the event with the 2019 President’s Award for his longtime support of the association, dating back to his owner position with Bob’s Building Center in Baxter, Minn., to his role on the board of NLA, and his contributions with members as a member sales manager of LBM Advantage, Nuernberg said.
LBM Advantage is a forest products and building materials cooperative operating from locations in New Windsor, N.Y., Grand Rapids, Mich., Smithfield, N.C., and Monroe, La.
