KB Home taps an Orlando president

KB Home has named a new president to lead its Orlando division.

In his new role Jay Lewis will be responsible for the company’s homebuilding operations across the region, from land acquisition and construction to sales and customer service.

Lewis has more than 30 years of experience in homebuilding with both national and local builders. He spent the last eight years specializing in the Central Florida area.

"We are very pleased to welcome Jay to the KB Home team in one of our strongest markets in the southeast,” said Vince DePorre, regional president of KB Home. “Jay’s extensive homebuilding background and local expertise will be a great asset to our business as we focus on growth opportunities in Central Florida.

KB Home is currently building new homes in 16 communities in the Orlando area.
