John Lamb named CFO at Pope Resources
Timberland management company Pope Resources has a new VP and chief financial officer in John Lamb, who is taking the vacant role left by Tom Ringo.
Effective April 20, Lamb will join Pope Resources from Segale Properties, where he oversaw the firm's property management and leasing operations, as well as its long-term development plans.
He has over 20 years of experience in property management and real estate finance, including previous roles as CFO and senior VP of Unico Properties and as corporate controller of Shurgard Storage Centers. He also worked for Ernst & Young and KPMG.
"John's executive experience with public and private companies has given him valuable exposure to real estate generally, and private equity funds and REITs particularly that will dovetail well with our range of operating businesses and future strategies," said Ringo. "We are pleased to welcome him to our senior leadership team as we take the company forward."
Ringo transitioned from CFO to president and CEO in December 2014 after serving as interim CEO since June 2014.
