Jenn-Air's latest fridge has a cool feature

Jenn-Air has released a new version if its 69" standard-depth French door refrigerator -- this time, featuring a dedicated exterior drawer for customizing food and ingredient storage.

"This newest model offers the same high design standards and many of the same performance features found in our top-of-the-line, built-in refrigerators," said marketing director Brian Maynard. "It gives those looking for a standard-depth refrigerator an elegant, feature-rich option that makes no compromises."

Homeowners can customize humidity and climate levels in the compartments using Jenn-Air's patented TwinFresh climate control system with sequential dual evaporators.

Additionally, a Produce Preserver keeps fruits and vegetables fresher by absorbing ethylene gas to slow down the ripening process.   

Yet another full-width exterior drawer uses pre-programmed electronic pantry settings and customizable temperatures for beverages, deli items or wine. The drawer is illuminated inside with multi-point LED theater lighting.

The fridge is currently available in a 36"-width model and features 26.2 cubic feet of storage space.
