JELD-WEN completes ABS acquisition
American Building Supply is expected to add $275 million in annual revenue to JELD-WEN Holdings.
JELD-WEN Holdings has completed its acquisition of American Building Supply, Inc. (ABS).
Based in Sacramento, Calif., ABS manufactures and distributes doors, millwork, and hardware products for both residential and commercial applications. Through its Doormerica division, ABS manufactures decorative, specialty, and architectural doors, including the Millennium Door series.
While terms of the deal were not disclosed, ABS is expected to add about $275 million in annual revenue, JELD-WEN said.
HBSDealer first reported the acquisition last month as JELD-WEN simultaneously announced a CEO change.
JELD-WEN, based in Charlotte, N.C., operates more than 120 manufacturing facilities in 19 countries including North America, Europe, and Australia. The company designs, produces, and distributes a wide range of interior and exterior doors, wood, vinyl, and aluminum windows.
