James Hardie expands distribution in the East

1/24/2019
James Hardie Building Products has expanded distribution in its Pittsburgh District.

The move will allow for the continued growth of its fiber cement siding and trim business, the building products manufacturer said.

Boise Cascade, via its Wheatland, Pa. facility, will carry the full range of James Hardie siding, trim, and interior products to service Western Pennsylvania. Also, Boise Cascade’s Westfield, Mass. operation will service Western New York.

There are no changes to existing partnerships with National Industrial Lumber Company (NILCO), James Hardie said.

"With this change in distribution we believe Boise Cascade and NILCO will provide an exceptional level of support for James Hardie products into the building materials dealers in the Pittsburgh District," said Andrew Bella, Northeast regional sales manager of James Hardie Building Products.

The Pittsburgh District distributors will offer the complete line of James Hardie products including HardiePlank lap siding, HardiePanel vertical siding, HardieShingle siding, HardieSoffit panels and HardieTrim boards.

All products are available with ColorPlus Technology for a variety of design options through numerous colors and textures. The James Hardie product portfolio also includes HardieBacker cement board.
