IBP establishes foundation
Installed Building Products, the installer of insulation and complementary building products, announced the launch of the Installed Building Products Foundation.
The new foundation is being led by IBP employees and is designed for IBP employees, their families, and their communities. Together, they set a goal to donate more than $1 million to nonprofits and individuals in 2019 through foundation programs.
Managed by the Columbus Foundation, the initiative includes educational scholarships, an employee emergency assistance fund, and a fund to support matching grants for employee donations of time or money. Through the matching grant program, IBP will partner with non-profits involved in building and renovating homes for those in need.
“We have a unique opportunity to support our employees, our communities, and our industry through the Installed Building Products Foundation,” said IBP CEO, Jeff Edwards. “Truly an employee-driven Foundation, the structure of our programs will allow us to make a significant impact in the causes most important to them.”
The Foundation’s funds are made possible through executive and investor donations, IBP contributions, and employee contributions and will be available to all employees across its locations nationwide. Kelly Clifford Riehl, IBP Director of Marketing and Communications, will serve as the Installed Building Products Foundation President.
