Hyde product finishes strong
Company introduces “Better Finnish” Nail and Hole Filler
Southbridge, Mass.-based Hyde introduced a nail and hole filler product with several interesting twists. Those include the twist to puncture the easy-to-use and reusable tube.
The company’s newest nail-and-hole filler promotes a better finish than spackle products, because it’s made of the same joint compound as the material used to tape and finish walls, the company said. And it’s available in a patented, resealable tube with a built-in applicator. The tube promises a 3-year shelf life -- even after opening.
In addition to the long shelf life, Hyde says the filler has less flashing than spackle; and it’s easier to apply and sand. Additionally, the 3 oz. tube will fill more than 300 nail holes.
