Husqvarna to build new plant in Poland

Swedish garden and construction power equipment manufacturer Husqvarna is building a new lawn mower manufacturing plant in Mielec, Poland, according to European Plastic News.

According to the article, the new 270,000-sq.-ft. facility will help the company expand its Central European operations. It will have the capacity to produce 35,000 ride-on mowers per year and up to 130,000 other mower products per year.

The new facility is expected to go online in December and will employ approximately 150 people.
