Hunter Douglas to move across the border into N.Y.
Window-fashion manufacturer Hunter Douglas will move its corporate headquarters to Pearl River, N.Y., from Upper Saddle River, N.J., effective Oct. 10. Hunter Douglas will move to Blue Hill Plaza and occupy the top two floors of the 21-story Skidmore, Owings & Merrill complex near the Hudson River.
“We’re pleased to be relocating to Blue Hill Plaza,” said Marv Hopkins, Hunter Douglas president and CEO. “The new offices provide a superior environment for our employees and customers and afford us room for growth while effectively showcasing our products and business. The Plaza’s pastoral setting yet close proximity to Manhattan and many tri-state towns and cities make it an ideal location for us."
The new headquarters, designed by the leading interiors firm of Gensler and appointed with Hunter Douglas’ custom window coverings and architectural products.
