The Home Depot expands Pinterest partnership
The Home Depot and Pinterest wants home improvement shoppers to discover more ideas and turn those ideas into a quick shop.
Through the ‘Shop the Look,’ Pinterest’s visual discovery feature, more than 100,000 new shoppable home décor products, including vanities, faucets, lighting, textiles, tabletop and interior décor are available.
Pinterest users can search and buy similar products to those featured in Pinterest Pins. To shop a Pin, users can tap the circle on a product on Pinterest to see similar items that are available for sale through The Home Depot.
The Home Depot said the expansion of its partnership with Pinterest complements retailer's growing online catalog of home and interior décor products, including a recent acquisition of The Company Store to broaden capabilities in textile development and sourcing.
