H.G. Page & Sons purchases Dill’s Best
Dill’s Best, a small chain of lumberyards in New York’s Dutchess County, has signed a purchase agreement with H.G. Page & Sons, according to The Journal News. The family-owned business, founded in 1985, has locations in LaGrange, Pawling and Amenia.
The company’s sales were $29.6 million in 2006, according to HCN’s Top 500 Retailers Scoreboard.
H.G. Page & Sons is one of the founding members of ENAP, the $970 million building materials co-op. The third generation business operates a home center in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., and had $22 million in sales in 2006, according to HCN research.
