Grip-Rite gun picks up the pace

Irving, Texas-based PrimeSource Building Products’ Grip-Rite brand announced that its latest roofing nailer took a step up in performance, without taking a step up in price.

The company's newly designed Grip-Rite Coil Roofing nailer promises improved speed, power, balance and durability, the company claims. The price is the same as the current version of the industry-standard nailer.

Drew Sundholm, director of collated and pneumatic fasteners for Grip-Rite, said the gun replaces a model that was already considered a leader in its category. "Add increased speed and unique features like a vinyl siding attachment and this [product is> a gun that remains an industry leader," he said.

The new Grip-Rite Coil Roofing nailer is being distributed to most regional building supply chains, specialty tool retailers and small lumberyards.

Grip-Rite is a brand of PrimeSource Building Products, which operates 34 distribution centers throughout the U.S.
