Griffin Lumber expands again
Just four months removed from a pair of acquisitions, Griffin Lumber and Hardware has expanded again.
Griffin as acquired Dodd Builders Supply in Forsyth, Ga. This acquisition gives Griffin five retail locations in the Peach State.
In a statement, Griffin CEO C.J. Griffin said, “Dodd Builders Supply has an excellent reputation in the community. The company has also operated with a set of values that we like, admire and feel is aligned with Griffin’s. People matter at Dodd and the company has high standards.”
While terms of the deal were not disclosed, Griffin noted that the acquisition is a “good long-term move” that will provide a boost to both companies.
This past February, Griffin expanded to four retail locations after the company acquired Blake Builders Supply. The dealer also added a second manufacturing facility when it acquired Specialty Structural Products earlier this year.
