Glassdoor names ABC one of the 'Best Places to Work'
ABC Supply Co. Inc. announced that it has received the Glassdoor Employees’ Choice Award of the Best Places to Work in 2020.
This is the second time that ABC Supply has been honored with the award, with the building products distributor being ranked 44th on a list that includes 100 large employers.
Glassdoor, one of the world’s largest job and recruiting websites, uses company reviews shared by current and former employees to determine which companies will be included on the list of Best Places to Work in 2020.
“The belief that every person has within themselves the ability to do great things is part of our core purpose at ABC Supply. We want our associates to feel valued and empowered,” said Chief Operating Officer Mike Jost. “It’s an honor to receive this recognition, but it’s even more rewarding to have so many positive, dedicated people on our team.”
ABC Supply employs over 15,000 associates throughout the U.S. The company is also a 13-time Gallup Great Workplace Award winner. Based in Beloit, Wis., ABC operates more than 790 locations nationwide.
For the Glassdoor rankings, employees are asked to rate their overall satisfaction with the company and key workplace factors such as career opportunities, compensation and benefits, culture and values, and work-life balance. In addition, employees are asked to share what works well at their company as well as any areas for improvement.
Industry manufacturers John Deere (#58), Milwaukee Tool (#60) and Pella (#79) also made the Top 100 rankings of the Best Places to Work 2020.
