GE appoints four executives
GE has appointed four new executives, three of which are brand new to the company. The move expands GE's total number of officers to 196 globally.
Harel Kodesh is now VP, CTO GE Software. He is joining the company from Nurego, where he served as CEO and founder. He has also held exeuctive roles with EMC Corp.’s Cloud business; Mozy, an EMC subsidiary; and Amdocs.
Taking the role of VP software research for GE Software will be Colin Parris, who comes from IBM. There, he held a series of leadership roles in IBM Systems & Technology Group and IBM Research, most recently as VP Systems Research for IBM Research.
Sharis Pozen has been named VP global competition and antitrust counsel for GE Corporate Legal. She joins the company from Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, LLP, where she was a partner. She also held leadership roles in the U.S. Department of Justice, serving as acting assistant attorney general of the U.S. Antitrust Division.
Finally, Weiming Xiang has been promoted to VP regional sales - China for GE Aviation. He has been with GE since 1992, during which time he has held various leadership roles in sales and marketing for GE Transportation and GE Aviation. In his most recent role, he was senior executive, regional sales - China for GE Aviation.
