Planet People’s line of eco-friendly iQ Cleaners reduce plastic waste by 80% through its patented iQ REFill (Reduced Environmental Footprint) technology. Makita has introduced the 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Cordless 1/2-in. Driver-Drill to its line of 18V Lithium-Ion tools. The new addition is powered by a Makita-built 4-pole motor with bigger front-end ball bearings, and delivers 480 in. lbs. of Max Torque and 290 in. lbs. of PTI Torque. The new planetary gear system and transmission has been redesigned for increased durability in a more compact size. The Driver-Drill features 16 clutch settings and a variable 2-speed all-metal transmission for a wide range of applications. A built-in LED light illuminates the drilling surface in dark spaces and close quarters. The jacket is powered by Red Lithium battery technology, which is hidden in a back pocket and delivers six hours of heat on a single battery charge. The fabric blend reduces noise during movement.
