Flagship Forest Products acquires Halpin Lumber
Flagship Forest Products, a specialty distributor of lumber products, has acquired Halpin Lumber Company.
Based in Stoughton, Mass., Halpin Lumber is a wholesaler of clear Douglas fir lumber.
Headquartered in Brighton, Mass., Flagship distributes cedar, pine, fir, mahogany, and composite products to independent lumber dealers in the Northeast.
“Halpin set the standard by which Clear Doug Fir wholesalers were judged,” Alyson McLaughlin, Flagship vice president of sales, said in a press release.
McLaughlin, who is overseeing the integration of Halpin, also noted that Flagship will be expanding its inventory selection to ensure a seamless transition.
