Fairway bolsters its rail system
Fairway Architectural Railing Solutions of Mount Joy, Pennsylvania, introduced a 42-in. cable rail structural post mount to its list of offerings.
The cable rail system uses a proprietary “FD” cable rail structural post mount to accept machine-threaded cable fittings mounted directly to the post mount for an extremely strong cable-to-structure connection. The result gives contractors and DIYers an easy-to-estimate and easy-to-install system that offers pre-drilled post sleeves and pre-configured railing kits for aluminum, vinyl and composite railing systems.
The addition of the 42-in. cable rail structural post mount, the latest Fairway structural post mount option designed specifically for the Fairway cable rail system is in support of the growing national market demand for 42-in. high railing for commercial, multi-family and multi-floor residential railing applications, the company said.
It also gives installers the option of selecting a 36- or 42-in. rail height by adjusting the top bracket block, and is available in a pass-through configuration.
Fairway describes the system as strong, clean and concise.
“Fairway knows railing,” said Andrew Hickey, Fairway marketing manager. “We also know that quoting material and installation costs of cable railing can be a challenge. The Fairway cable rail system simplifies cable railing from take-off to installation with a focus on fewer SKUs, friendly packaging and structural design that exceeds code psi requirements.”
