Executive promotion at Newell Rubbermaid
Newell Rubbermaid has promoted Bradford Turner to the role of senior VP, general counsel and corporate secretary.
Effective April 1, Turner will serve on the company's Executive Leadership Team, reporting to president and CEO Michael Polk.
"Brad's deep knowledge of Newell Rubbermaid and his years of experience supporting our operating groups make him an ideal choice for this role," said Polk. "He will be a tremendous asset to our leadership team. His promotion to this key position is representative of the great bench strength we are developing within our company."
He will be transitioning from his most recent role as VP and deputy general counsel. Prior to that, he held a number of roles in the Legal Services Department.
Before joining Newell Rubbermaid in 2004, he was an associate with Troutman Sanders LLP.
Turner is also a member of the Georgia Bar Association, as well as the chair of the Executive Committee of the Corporate Counsel Section and the president of the Writing Instrument Manufacturers Association.
