Epicor honors excellence
LAS VEGAS – Epicor recognized its most innovative customers at the software company’s 2018 LBM User Conference.
The 2018 Customer Excellence Awards were presented to LBM businesses that successfully transformed operations by deploying Epicor BisTrack and Epicor LumberTrack solutions and services to achieve excellence in business efficiency and overall performance.
This year Epicor added a new twist to the awards program by donating $1,000 to winners’ charity or organization of choice.
Hampton Lumber Sales was presented with the Technology Innovator award for leveraging the LumberTrack Sales & Pricing Application Programing Interface (API) to support their own browser-based user interface for sales entry. Hampton Lumber Sales is making a donation to Habitat for Humanity, the nonprofit organization that helps people around the world build or improve a place they can call home.
In the Rapid Time to Value category, The Deck Superstore took home this award through its experience with a fast implementation and deployment. They will be donating to the Adams 14 Education Foundation, a 501(c) 3 corporation in Commerce City, Colo. aimed at improving literacy among students in Adams County School District 14.
Star Building Materials Calgary took home the Business Transformation award for leveraging the business intelligence tools built into the Epicor BisTrack solution to exponentially grow its business, despite a challenging local home-building economic climate. The company is supporting the Royal Canadian Sea Cadet Corps, a Canadian national youth program sponsored by the Canadian Armed Forces and the civilian Navy League of Canada.
“We appreciate the BisTrack solution because we now have higher quality processes,” said Jonathan Mitchell, president of the Deck Superstore. “Sales team, purchasing, remanufacturing, packing, delivery manager, delivery drivers—they all have better tools for talking to each other and staying on the same page. Communication is faster and more complete. For example, simply knowing whether an order is still waiting for stock or ready for picking saves us a lot of time.”
“The Epicor Customer Excellence Award program gives us an opportunity to recognize those customers that are at the forefront of their industries thanks to the implementation of our easy-to-use solutions that stimulate their business growth. This year we are pleased to highlight these outstanding companies for their business accomplishments as well as support valuable causes in their communities,” said Kevin Hodge, Epicor senior product director for LBM.
The LBM User Conference is being held here at the Aria hotel and wraps up today. During the 3-day event, Epicor rolled out its new BisTrack 6.0 system along with an update to its LumberTrack package.
