EPA announces its Indoor airPLUS Leader builders

2/20/2018

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has named its annual list of Indoor airPLUS Leaders.

The honors go toward home builders that have demonstrated an exceptional commitment to home construction with improved indoor air quality.

KB Home was this year's Corporate Builder Winner, but a number of smaller, more regional players got recognition as well.

Among them are Fulton Homes, Mandalay Communities, Schell Brothers, C&B Construction, Charles Thomas Homes, Habitat for Humanity - St. Louis and Kettler Forlines.

“We’re proud to announce the 2015 Indoor airPLUS Leader Award winners and to congratulate winners like KB Home for raising the bar on indoor air quality in new homes,” said David Rowson, director of EPA’s Indoor Environments Division. “These builders are not only creating healthier indoor environments for homeowners, but they are also leading the broader housing market toward safer, healthier housing by raising consumer awareness about the importance of indoor air quality. Their recognition is well-deserved.”
