ECOB names a director of sales

Eco Building Products, Inc. has named Buzz Nielsen as director of sales.

"I am very pleased to announce that Buzz Nielsen has accepted the position of director of sales for Eco Building Products," said Tom Comery, president and CEO. "I know Buzz to be the consummate sales professional, having worked with him on and off for the past 20 years. I am thrilled to have him join our mission."

In his new role, Nielsen will report directly to Comery and oversee the company's sales and customer relations, including customer selection, pricing, mix and volume, and customer service.

Nielsen is a veteran in lumber marketing and sales, and he brings many lumber dealer and distributor contacts throughout North America with him.

In his 30-year career, Nielsen has worked for Georgia Pacific, Hayward Lumber, SierraPine, Sealaska and International Forest products, among others.

He specifically brings many existing relationships in the Pacific Northwest with him thanks to his role as branch manager in Seattle for Georgia Pacific, which will aid the purposes of Eco Products' Tacoma facility.

He also has specialized experience in commodity lumber, plywood and Oriented Strand Board (OSB), engineered wood products and tropical hardwood.
