At ECi Software, a new divisional president

ECi Software Solutions appointed John Maiuri as president of its LBMH Division. In his new role, Maiuri will be responsible for driving the strategic direction of the LBMH software products and technology to maximize the impact on the entire customer base.

“John has made a significant impact on ECi in the 10 months that he has been a part of our organization,” said Ron Books, president and CEO of ECi. “Joining ECi as part of our acquisition of Spruce Computer Systems earlier this year, John immediately provided sound strategic direction and insightful recommendations on how to further improve our business. It was quite evident that he was the right person to lead the LBMH Division. I look forward to positive developments for both ECi and our customers under his leadership.”

Serving the industry for more than 30 years, Maiuri began his career as the yard foreman for a construction supplier in Catskill, New York. He later served as director of purchasing and general manager before taking over the reins as president in 1994. In 2008, he ventured into technology sales when he joined Spruce Computer Systems as the Northeast Regional Territory Manager, then VP marketing and business development and later VP sales after joining ECi. Maiuri’s experience has given him a firm understanding not only of the changing needs of business owners and the industry, but also the importance of leveraging technology to keep businesses competitive.
