ECI settles lawsuit, acquires the defendant
ECI Software Solutions has acquired the assets of Prosperity Computer Solutions, LLC, a software company serving the lumber, building materials, and hardlines industry.
The move arrives after ECI settled a lawsuit against Prosperity. The company will become part of ECI's LBMH Grup.
Prosperity was founded in 2016 by Wade Frazier and several former ECI employees and staff, who developed an on-premise software solution known as “ProsperityERP” that was custom-built for the LBM and hardlines market.
“ECI has a longstanding commitment to the LBMH industry, providing solutions that have moved businesses forward since 1985,” said Ron Books, CEO of ECI Software Solutions. “We’re excited to welcome Prosperity’s customers as we chart our course forward.”
Terms of the June 5 deal, along with additional details regarding the lawsuit settlement, were not disclosed.
ECI is based in Fort Worth, Texas and produces industry-specific business software solutions and services, focusing on cloud-based technologies. The company services small to medium-sized manufacturing, wholesale and retail distribution, and building and construction companies.
