Dunn-Edwards introduces new paint lines

Dunn-Edwards has introduced two new lines of acrylic paints for both interior and exterior use. Spartawall interior and Spartashield exterior acrylic paints are both available in a full range of gloss levels and colors. They can be used on commercial and residential projects, such as schools, hotels, hospitals, and single family or multi-tenant housing.  Both are formulated to provide for a more durable, better hiding, and longer lasting paint, the company said. 

Spartawall interior paints are formulated with high quality resin and pigments to provide a smooth, uniform finish that can withstand repeated washing.  “Spartawall is proven to have the best scrub resistance versus competitive products in its class, and that means that the painted surface is going to look newer longer,” said Dave Heiligenthal, Dunn-Edward product manager. 

Spartashield exterior 100% acrylic paints not only provide superior efflorescence resistance on masonry surfaces, but have exceptional grain crack resistance when applied to rough-sawn or properly prepared smooth wood, according to the Los Angeles-based  manufacturer. Spartashield has exceptional sag resistance combined with superior flow and leveling, the company said.   

Like all other Dunn-Edwards’ paint, Spartawall and Spartashield are eco-friendly and ethylene glycol (EG)-free.  Both products are ultra-low VOC (less than 50 g/L), and have very low odor both during and after application.
