Drylok Extreme receives green certification

United Gilsonite Laboratories (UGL) has announced that its Drylok Extreme Masonry Waterproofer has received the “Green Wise” seal.

Products with the Green Wise label have been tested and certified by Coatings Research Group to meet or exceed the VOC requirements of Green Seal GS-11 and environmentally determined performance standards established by CRGI for specific product types. In addition, these products do not contain certain harmful chemicals.

Drylok Extreme, which incorporates a mold and mildew preventative, was launched in 2007 with the introduction of International Specialty Products (ISP) CleanGuard Biocide, CleanGuard Biocide is an EPA-registered, solvent-free, water-based fungicide that guards the dry paint film with no-VOC, low-odor, broad-spectrum protection against degradation, discoloration and defacement caused by mold and mildew.
