DeWalt debuts new 40V MAX tools for landscapers
DeWalt has added a couple goodies for landscapers to its 40V MAX line of outdoor power equipment.
The new 6-Pack Charging Station can charge all the necessary batteries for DeWalt OPE, eliminating the need for 2-cycle gas mix on landscaping trucks.
The station can charge up to six 40V MAX batteries, and fast -- under an hour for DeWalt 7.5Ah batteries, and 45 minutes for a 6.0Ah battery. Once one battery is charged, the charger will automatically switch to the next battery, choosing the battery closest to full charge.
The Charging Station is also water-resistant and includes a cover to help protect the batteries from outdoor elements and landscaping debris.
Also new to the line is a Pole Hedge Trimmer that can cut through a variety of landscape overgrowth.
The 22" dual-reciprocating laser cut blades offer sharp shearing with a cut capacity of up to 1" thick branches.
Additionally, a telescoping shaft makes it easy to trim in compact spaces when retracted, as well as in many hard-to-reach areas when fully extended. An articulating head allows the user to maneuver the Pole Hedge Trimmer to a variety of angles, cutting in 8 different positions, adjusted by 15° increments.
