Delta hires four regional sales managers
Anderson, S.C.-based Delta Power Equipment Corp. named four regional sales managers: Joe Brakhage, Northeast, Rick Carr, Midwest; Dennis Mickelson, Western; and Curt Thomas, Southeastern.
Carr started with Rockwell International’s power tool division in 1977 as a district sales manager and worked his way up through the Pentair Tool Group to become hardware channel national accounts manager from 1999 to 2003 with responsibilities for a number of their brands, including Delta. Most recently, he was hardware channel national accounts manager with Senco Brands.
Mickelson was with Porter-Cable Professional Power Tools from 1991 to 2004, with ever-increasing responsibilities from district sales manager to director of sales for the Western region and finally as a key account executive. Most recently he was a business development manager for Verizon/Idearc Media.
Thomas was an area sales manager for Delta Machinery from 1993 to 2001 and then held that same position with WMH Tool Group from 2001 to 2005. At that time, he joined Steel City Tool Works as a regional manager and then joined General International in 2009 as eastern sales manager. He held that position until he joined Delta Power Equipment Corp. this year.
Most recently, Brakhage was regional sales manager for General International, USA, managing all aspects of his territory’s woodworking machinery sales and support, as well as handling the Woodcraft national account.
“I’ve known each one of these gentlemen for years, and they are all highly experienced salespeople. They joined our team a couple of months ago and hit the ground running,” said Craig Walls, national sales manager for Delta.
