Delta furthers its scholarship game

Delta Faucet Company is lending a hand to students of the plumbing, heating and cooling trade via six $2,500 scholarships.

"We know that contractors are looking everywhere for skilled workers to hire," said Sam Straub, VP trade sales for Delta Faucet Company. "Through these scholarships, Delta Faucet is helping to connect those contractors with the employees they need to get their work done."

Under the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors (PHCC) Educational Foundation, Delta has been steering its scholarship program since 1986, donating a total of $435,000 to over 170 students over the years.

In 2014, the winners are Jacob Cropp of Manassas, Virginia; Dylan David of Lakeside, California; Corey Koenen of San Diego; Eric Montalvo of San Diego; Anna Powers of West Seneca, New York; and Nolan Rechtin of Bellevue, Kentucky.
