Countertops seen as most splurge-worthy kitchen product

The team at the Research Institute for Cooking and Kitchen Intelligence released data from its latest study showing the most splurge-worthy areas of the kitchen.

Countertops topped the list, with 69% of respondents – 315 professional kitchen and bath designers and dealers.

After countertops, the kitchen items homeowners splurge on most in a remodel, from a list of 14 tested, are islands, cabinetry, refrigerators, cooking appliances, and storage, according to professional kitchen designers.
