Ace Hardware is partnering with Salt River Project (SRP), an Arizona energy provider, to offer one free CFL light bulb to customers who make a purchase of $20 or more at an Ace store. SRP customers can access the coupon offer by taking the Energy Star pledge online at www.srpnet.com/pledge. SRP’s goal is to have 100,000 customers make the pledge to change a light bulb in their home, which would conserve enough energy to light nearly 16,000 homes for a year, SRP said.
