Copp’s Buildall upgrades its business software

Copp’s Buildall, a pro dealer with four locations in London, Ontario, Canada, has selected Epicor BisTrack software to assist in running operations.

BisTrack will provide Copp’s with integrated dispatch and delivery management, electronic document management, inventory control tools such as suggested orders, real-time business intelligence, and more in helping the company make accurate business decisions, Epicor said in a press release.

Family-owned and operated through four generations, Copp’s has played a prominent role in London, Ontario’s building industry since 1877.

“To continue being a leader in the industry required us to look at ways to improve efficiency and better serve our customers,” said David Loughlin, vice president of finance at Copp’s Buildall. “Copp’s Buildall is a future-oriented business and we don’t want to be held back by our software in the years to come.”

According to Loughlin, the software previously used by the company did not integrate will all of its systems, including delivery, business reporting, and document storage.

“BisTrack software will help us better serve customers by increasing our efficiency to eliminate manual tasks, gain better business insight, and improve the customer experience,” Loughlin said. “Our primary objective for transitioning to BisTrack software is to take our customer service to an even higher level.”

Approximately 50% of the Copp’s Buildall business is delivered, requiring accurate and real-time data to effectively serve customers and keep the business on track. “With BisTrack software, we’ll know exactly where our trucks are and how long they spend at each drop. We can even give our customers access to the status of their shipped orders. They can monitor their shipments online or request an alert once a shipment has been delivered to their workers at the jobsite,” said Loughlin.
