Compact Power Equipment Rental expands

With a new stand-alone location in Jacksonville, Florida, Compact Power Equipment Rental is pointing to strong business momentum.

The new Jacksonville Rental Center will offer a full fleet of heavy equipment, VIP Onsite Delivery , and a variety of small power tools. 



“Our business grew by leaps and bounds in 2016,” said Compact Power’s chief operating officer Richard Porter.  “It was a year during which we leveraged GPS technology to better manage our fleet, reached more customers in more markets and improved the equipment available to rent.  With this location in Jacksonville we’re taking another step to improve the rental experience and offer our customers the most convenient way to tackle their jobs.”

Jacksonville is the first of three stand-alone Compact Power Equipment Rental locations to open in 2017. Upcoming locations include Dallas, Texas and Fort Mill, South Carolina.

Compact Power grew over the last decade by collaboration with The Home Depot, in which the rental company owns maintains and repairs machines located at Home Depot stores. Today, Compact Power is found in more than 1,000 Home Depot locations and offers VIP Onsite Delivery in 43 markets.
